The various small parts retain 80% of their straw colors with the safety lever having been restrawed. This beautiful early Luger is complete with an early brown leather holster marked inside of the flap "19 I.R./1912", with no other proofs or markings with an original Erfurt proofed take down tool.Ĭondition: Excellent with 95% of the original blue finish overall with wear on the edges and high spots overall with actual blue loss on the side plate hump, front edges of the frame. It is fitted with checkered walnut grips and as noted it has two matching nickel plated magazines with the wooden bases that are marked with a "Crown/Script letter/3457/Script letter" and "Crown/Script letter/3457 + Script letter" proof respectively. The pistol exhibits the typical early Erfurt nicely machined and rust blued finish with the straw color on the various small parts. The pistol has the standard fixed front and rear sights and the extractor and safety are properly marked with "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN". The right top rear section of the barrel has a small Army test Eagle proof, with many of the smaller parts having the Erfurt "Crown over a script letter" proof. The right barrel extension has the standard "Crown over script" proofs next to an "Imperial Eagle" proof.

The chamber is dated 1912, with the standard "Crown/ERFURT" marking on top of the front toggle. Manufactured in 1912, this is an excellent example of a WWI German Erfurt produced Luger pistol.
